Launchpad and perps on Robinhood Chain.
Overview
Choai has two parts.
- Versus perps: one Robinhood Chain coin against another, 1x to 5x, margin in ETH, no liquidations.
- Launchpad: launch a coin free on Pons with a rival, and a path to its own matchup once it grows. Launches open soon.
Matchups
A matchup pairs two coins. It has two sides, one per coin: put ETH on a side at any leverage from 1x to 5x, and that ETH moves with how your coin runs against its rival.
Matchups pair matchup coins: 20 busiest coins on Pons that graduated, are 7+ days old and worth $1M+, plus CASHCAT and AI. A pair needs $1M+ liquidity on both sides.
Both coins of a matchup are priced in one unit, ETH or USDG, so every step compares like with like. There are 10 matchups, one per seat:
How a step works
Every 2 to 15 minutes a settlement compares both coins on 10-minute average prices.
- Ratio r is left price divided by right price. Step x is r now divided by r at last settlement, capped at 1.25 either way; a bigger move catches up over next settlements.
- Whichever coin ran weaker, its side loses. With f as smaller of x and 1/x, a losing position at leverage k keeps its value times f to power k.
- Winners split what losers gave up, by size times leverage.
CASHCAT vs BUN, 2 ETH on each side at 3x. CASHCAT rises 12% and BUN 2%, so CASHCAT is ahead about 9.8%. About 0.49 ETH moves to CASHCAT side: +24.5% for it, −24.5% for BUN side.
With 3 ETH against 1 ETH, if 1 ETH side wins that same step, it gains about 73.4%. A smaller side earns more when it wins.
Dust cap. A winning side gains at most 5 times what same step would have cost it, so a tiny side cannot drain a big one. At equal leverage it only kicks in once one side is over 5 times bigger.
Joining and leaving
- Deposits queue and join about 10 minutes later, once average prices have caught up. Until then they neither win nor lose.
- Exits queue too. Shares you asked to leave keep winning or losing until they are processed, then their ETH waits for you to collect.
- Collect sends everything ready to your wallet in one transaction.
- Fees: 0.1% when joining, 0.1% when leaving. Minimum deposit 0.001 ETH.
- Each side has a cap, set from how deep its thinner coin pool is, so no side outgrows what its prices can bear.
Prices
Each coin price comes from its own Uniswap pool on Robinhood Chain, read on chain. A keeper records prices every few minutes, and settlements use 10-minute time-weighted averages, so a single trade cannot set a price. If records stop, settlement stops too: nothing moves on stale prices.
Safety
- No liquidations: a losing position shrinks but never reaches zero.
- Your ETH sits in Versus contract. Its owner can pause new deposits, close a matchup to new deposits and change caps, but cannot move anyone's ETH. Exits always work.
- If a matchup has not settled for 6 hours, everyone in it can leave at last settled value.
Seats
10 seats, one matchup each. A seat holder gets 20% of that matchup's fees, paid weekly. Seats 01 to 03 belong to house.
Seats 04 to 10 open soon; how to hold one is posted here when they do.
Launchpad
Launches open soon. Here is how they work.
- Free: you pay only Pons's 0.0005 ETH launch fee, and Choai takes nothing. Coins launch on Pons, paired with ETH.
- Creator fees go straight to your wallet: 0.7% of every trade, plus a creator tax you pick from 0% to 5%. Tax is fixed for life. You claim fees on Pons.
- Every launch picks a rival from matchup coins. Launched coins have their own list on Launchpad, apart from matchup coins.
- Each coin gets its own page: its race against its rival since launch, trades, curve and path to Versus, plus a share card for X. A coin launched without a website links there: Pons shows choai.trade/l/ and its launch number.
- An optional first buy runs inside your launch transaction, before anyone else and free of snipe tax.
- A logo is required. It is uploaded and read back before launch opens, and you see a preview of your coin before you sign. Logo, name, ticker, tax and creator wallet cannot change later.
- Path to Versus: a coin that graduates on Pons and passes $1M liquidity, 1,000 holders and 7 days of trading can get its own matchup against its rival.
- Its creator then gets 48 hours to hold that matchup's seat before anyone else can. Seat vault enforces it on chain.
